A WhatsApp side panel for any browser tab

Switching to the WhatsApp tab every time a message comes in breaks your focus. WA Web Plus opens WhatsApp in Chrome's side panel — a narrow, always-there column beside your work. Read new messages, reply, and jump back to what you were doing without ever leaving the page you're on.

    What it does

The side panel mirrors your real WhatsApp Web: your chat list, your conversations, your unread counts. Type a reply and it sends from your own account, exactly as if you'd used the main tab. Nothing is stored on a server — it talks to the WhatsApp Web session already running in your browser.

    Open it in 10 seconds

    1. 1

Install WA Web Plus and open WhatsApp Web once so your session is active.

    2. 2

Click the WA Web Plus icon and choose "Open Side Panel".

    3. 3

The panel docks to the side of your browser — keep it open while you work in other tabs.

Good to know: The side panel needs your WhatsApp Web session running in the browser — it's the same login, just shown in a second place.

    Free and Pro

The side panel is a Pro feature. Core privacy tools — blur, screen lock, hide online status — stay free, forever. Pro unlocks the Workspace tools built for people who live in WhatsApp all day.

Try WA Web Plus — core features are free.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the side panel work if the WhatsApp tab is closed?

It needs an active WhatsApp Web session in your browser. Open WhatsApp Web once and the side panel stays in sync with it.

Are my messages sent to a server?

No. The panel reads and sends through the WhatsApp Web session already in your browser — nothing routes through us.

    Is the side panel free?

It's part of Pro. Blur, screen lock and other core privacy features are always free.
